Nicole Winter Tietel

Nicole Winter Tietel is an accomplished Financial Advisor, President, and Chief Compliance Officer of Winter & Associates, Inc. The fourth generation and first woman to lead this dynamic company, she has helped her clients protect, accumulate, and distribute wealth for over 29 years. After 25 years in the business under a Broker/Dealer model, Nicole re-launched Winter & Associates as an independent Registered Investment Advisory Firm (RIA) January 1, 2021. Currently registered with the SEC, she manages over $140 million of assets.

Sharing her financial management expertise, Nicole has been interviewed by local and regional news outlets and featured in numerous publications including WCCO-AM, The St. Paul Pioneer Press, Minneapolis Star and Tribune, Minnesota Business Monthly, Accounting Today, Business Insider, Financial Advisor, Financial Planning, Investment News, and many others.

Nicole is devoted to serving her community and industry. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of St. Paul, former Development Chair and board member of Dodge Nature Center, and past treasurer of the St. Paul Academy Lower School Parent's Association. She is a former president of the St. Paul Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and served as President on the national board of the Securian Women's Interactive Sales Exchange from 2015-2018. She has also volunteered for the Ordway Theater, Minneapolis/St. Paul Children's Hospital, and currently serves on the St. Croix River Valley Foundation's Finance & Investment Committee.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Babson College. Her two children, Shelby and Riley, are now launched and she lives in Afton with her husband, Michael, their chocolate lab, Hayden and golden retriever, Hunter.
