Edward Anderson

Ed Anderson is a seasoned financial planner, investment manager, and wealth advisor. With over a decade of experience and a Certified Financial Planner® designation, he has built his career helping individuals and families create plans that are not only effective, but personal, purposeful, and built to last.

Ever since graduating from the University of Illinois in 2014 with a degree in Consumer Economics & Financial Planning, Ed has been helping people navigate life’s financial twists and turns – working to develop tools and strategies to make financial planning and investing more approachable and meaningful in the lives of the people he serves.

At Winter & Associates, Ed works closely with clients to build plans that are custom-tailored to meet their individual needs – whether that’s preparing for retirement, passing on family wealth, or simply feeling more confident about what’s ahead. Great financial planning starts with listening – everything else comes after that.

After growing up in Chicago and spending the first half of his career as a lead advisor in Illinois, Ed and his family moved up to the Twin Cities in 2018 for his spouse, Sloan, to pursue a PhD at the University of Minnesota. Ed, Sloan, and their three boys currently live in St. Paul. When he is not in the office, you will most likely find Ed chasing his boys around outside, enjoying a sauna, starting a new project around the house, or cheering on his Chicago sports teams (with varying degrees of success).
